There is no shame in hurting because you feel deeply. If you only love those who love you you will never feel any pain--pain is unrequited love--pain makes you grow, it makes you strong.

Focus on others; as you spend time getting to know others you will love them. You cannot help it. People are amazing. However, the minute you begin focusing on yourself you will be miserable. You will hate yourself: people are not perfect. Do not be ashamed to love--and hurt. With the love, comes pain, but "you learn, my God, you learn."
